A teaser image of Naruto’s 20th anniversary was released recently.
The anime world is buzzing with excitement as Naruto’s 20th anniversary approaches. The beloved series, created by Masashi Kishimoto, has left its mark on fans worldwide since its debut in 1999. Now, with a teaser image, the upcoming anniversary anime promises to take us back to the days before Team 7’s Shippuden, rekindling our love for Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura, and Kakashi.
The teaser image offers a glimpse into the early days of the characters, reminding us of the beginnings of our favorite ninja heroes. The anime also brings a wave of musical nostalgia with FLOW as the theme artist. The opening will be the 20th anniversary version of the song “GO!!!” while the ending will feature a cover of “Viva☆Rock” by ORANGE RANGE.
As part of the big celebration, Studio Pierrot has prepared four brand new episodes, leaving fans on edge with anticipation. While details on the plot and characters are kept secret, the episodes are confirmed to premiere on September 3 in Japan. Fans won’t have to wait long to return to the ninja world. The anime is slated to run for four weeks, with the first episode on September 3. The announcement about this important anime was made earlier this year, along with news of Season 2 production for Boruto: Naruto Next Generations, which temporarily halted the series.
The original Naruto manga, serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump from 1999 to 2014, spans an epic journey through 72 tankoubon volumes. The next Naruto anime series, which ran from 2002 to 2007, followed by Naruto: Shippuden from 2007 to 2017, continued to expand the world and attract audiences.
Naruto has evolved throughout the series
Throughout the series, fans witness Naruto’s growth as a human, forming relationships with friends and old enemies. Face formidable foes like Orochimaru, Pain, Tobi and Madara Uchiha. With Shippuden ending on a gratifying note, the baton was given to Boruto: Next Generations in April 2017. This new chapter delves into the adventures of Naruto’s son, Boruto, while introducing higher stakes, new enemies, and intriguing conflicts.
Furthermore, the celebrations continue out there. It was previously announced that fans will be treated to a special concert titled Naruto The Live at Makuhari Messe in Japan on September 2 and 3. The event boasts bands that performed the opening and ending theme songs for the film, creating an unforgettable experience for fans. Concert tickets are already on sale, adding to the excitement.
