Kodansha's K MANGA service added Ishizawa's Umi Manga adaptation of Mei Satsuki's My Ice-Rose Husband Says He Just Wanted Me to Play the Next Duchess, But Now He's Watching Me at Home! (Jiki Kōshaku Fujin no Yakuwari Dake o Motomete Kita, Kōri no Bara to Utawareru Danna-sama ga Katei-nai Stalker to Kashita Ken) in English on Tuesday. The service will release chapters of the manga in English as they are released in Japanese.
K MANGA describes the story:
Viola, the daughter of a count (she was Japanese in her previous life), is married off by her parents to Albert, the next duke. However, on the very first night of their marriage, her husband declares, “All I ask of you is that you only perform your role as the duke’s wife in appearance,” shattering any hope of a romantic relationship. Despite his soul-destroying declaration, Viola picks up the pieces and begins to live happily, unfettered, declaring, “Forget about my cold, rude husband. I will live my life the way I want!” However, her new husband and her mansion seem to be hiding a secret…?! It is a suffocating romance of a cheerful, reincarnated woman who, by comforting her hurt husband, transforms him into the most lovable husband♡”
The manga debuted in December 2022 on the Palcy app. Kodansha published the third volume on June 28.
Satsuki serialized the original manga on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō website from December 2021 to March 2022.
