My Hero Academia’s Hawks has a mission to personally test his pet student.
Illustrated by prodigious fan artist Kadeart, the Hawks decided to drop by UA during school hours to check out his favorite bird. Hanging in midair, the Hawks happily greeted Class 1-A. Unfortunately, his arrival did not receive a warm welcome. Midoriya and Momo were stunned with shock while Todoroki, who had a calm demeanor and was unfazed by most things, casually raised his hand and waved. Aizawa didn’t seem very happy when her class was interrupted by the Pro Hero. The only person who seemed delighted to see the Hawks was his number one fan, Tokoyami’s Dark Shadow.
Fans may be wondering what happened to the Hawks after he showed up outside the classroom without warning. Kadeart answered that question with a follow-up fan art piece in which Aizawa literally tackles the problem herself. Using his capture cloth, the Class 1-A teacher wrapped the Hawks, a menacing aura radiating from him. The Hawks could only laugh sheepishly while Tokoyami watched, completely unsympathetic to his mentor’s plight.
My Hero Academia fans love the illustrations
The fan art received over 12,000 likes in just an hour of upload. Fans were flooded with comments, praising the fan artist for the illustration. One person wrote, “I love this with all my heart. He will totally visit the kids at school and embarrass Tokoyami like his big brother.” Another felt sorry for the Hawks, commenting: “Hawks just wanted to say ‘hello’ to Tokoyami!! I’m crying so much, it’s so healthy and sweet!! HE IS FREE!!”
Tokoyami and Hawks aren’t the only ones getting attention for their mentor-mentee relationship. Ever since All Might met Midoriya, he has acted as guardian and mentor to “Midoriya-shonen” as the young hero navigates his life at UA and is the heir to One for All. . All Might also acts as a mentor to the other students of UA, especially Bakugo and Todoroki.
