The world of My Hero Academy there’s supposed to be a ton of different hero classes outside of UA, but fans won’t know that when looking at the notable pro heroes in the series. In fact, only two professional heroes are known to have never attended UA and one has never attended any hero school.
Hero schools seem to have been around for a while in My Hero Academia, as even All Might once attended UA, wearing a uniform very similar to the one his students wear today. Many other heroes, such as Eraser Head, Midnight, Endeavor and Edgeshot are also known to have attended UA. In fact, most of the top 10 pro heroes have attended UA at some point in their lives, but there are two notable exceptions. One is the current #2 hero Hawks, while the other is the #5 hero, Mirko. While not all pro heroes have known histories, these two are the only ones known to have explicitly not attended UA.
Hawks and Mirko stand out for their heroic path
In the spinoff/prequel series My Hero Academia Vigilantes, Mirko appeared while still in high school. She wears a different uniform from UA’s, and is said to be a third year at a hero school in Hiroshima. In this scene, she’s actually sneaking into an illegal underground Quirk fighting ring, showing that Mirko always had a wild side, even long before she turned into extreme heroes. in The Hospital Raid in My Hero Academia. This change doesn’t seem to do anything to stop her from truly becoming a hero, and she doesn’t even have UA’s reputation to help bring her to the top.
However, the Hawks are a completely different story. Directly employed by the Heroic Public Safety Commission as a child, the Hawks never attended hero school, instead being trained by the agency to act as one of their enforcers. It was the same agency that Lady Nagant used to work for, and the Hawks were her successor in the role that eventually made her the villain. Hawks’ connection to the Heroic Public Safety Commission is kept secret, but he’s still allowed to act openly as a hero, which makes it possible for him to move up to #2 right behind god. his statue, Endeavor.
UA High creates the best in My Hero Academia
While it is likely that there are other notable professionals who did not attend UA, Hawks and Mirko are the only known cases. Even the other hero schools that play an important role in the series, like Ketsubutsu Academy or Shiketsu, don’t have any known alumni, which is especially shocking in the case of Shiketsu, as the school This is said to have a reputation close to UA. The main conclusion here seems to be My Hero AcademyThe school’s UA High School truly lives up to its reputation, but it doesn’t represent the only path to becoming one of the nation’s best heroes.
