The My Hero Academia Season 6 OVA episode, UA Heroes Battle, will begin streaming on Crunchyroll on November 30. The episode revolves around UVS Games’ Universus Collectible Card Game (CCG) and it has had its premiere in the United States at this year’s New York Comic-Con.
The My Hero Academia anime is currently on hiatus as it prepares for its seventh season, which was announced last year. In addition to the new season, the franchise is also preparing to release a new film, set in a destroyed society, presumably the one we saw in the sixth season of the TV anime.

The My Hero Academia anime is based on the manga by Kohei Horikoshi that has been serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump since 2014. The manga was adapted into an anime by studio BONES in 2016. Part 2 aired in 2017, continuing followed by the third season in 2018. The fourth season of the anime series began airing in fall 2019 and ended in winter 2020. The fifth season aired in 2021, while the sixth and latest season aired from October 2022 until March this year. This franchise also has 3 films: Two Heroes (2018), Heroes:Rising (2019) and World Heroes’ Mission (2021).
Crunchyroll is streaming the series, which follows a society of superheroes and villains, and describes the plot as follows: Izuku has dreamed of being a hero all his life—a noble goal for anyone, but especially challenging for a child without superpowers. That’s right, in a world where 80% of the population has some kind of “superpower”, Izuku was unlucky enough to be born completely normal. But that wasn’t enough to stop him from enrolling in one of the most prestigious hero academies in the world.
