To commemorate the release of the 39th volume of the series, My Hero Academia (Boku no Hero Academia) Revealing the special character remix PV. The character remix trailer features Izuku Midoriya, Katsuki Bakugou, and Shoto Todoroki. The video highlights important plot points in the story surrounding these three characters.
Besides special character remixes of Midoriya, Bakugo and Todoroki, My Hero Academy also released two special videos featuring Himiko Toga and Ochako Uraraka. One of the videos is a short video of Toga and Uraraka with the tagline “That’s why I exist”. The other video is an hour long and shows Toga and Uraraka in a setting different from the main story. This video is a What IF friendship video that gives fans a preview of what life would be like for both Toga and Uraraka if they met and became friends. Fans can watch all of the special videos on Shounen Jump’s official YouTube Channel. The manga’s 39th volume was released in Japan on November 2 at 0:00JST.
The My Hero Academy Kohei Horikoshi’s manga series is currently published and serialized by Shueisha in their Weekly Shonen Jump Magazine. The series has inspired various media franchises including spin-off manga, light novels, video games, stage plays, films, and an anime series. The My Hero Academyan anime series that first aired in April 2016 and has released three anime series and several seasons since then. The anime series finished airing its sixth season in March 2023. The seventh season is currently in production and plans for a fourth film are in the works. The manga series is licensed and published in English by VIZ Media. All six seasons of My Hero Academy can be watched with both English subtitles and English dub on Crunchyroll.
