My Hero Academia’s trio of villains have gotten some new merchandise artwork.
The new image features three of the series’ most famous villains: Tomura Shigaraki, Dabi, and Himiko Toga. All three are members of the League of Villains and leaders of the Occult Liberation Front. The two of them have been in the series since Season 2 after Hero-Killer Stain announced the Hero Association, while Tomura has been around since the beginning, as he was the one who helped launch the attacks. Initial attack against All Might and Class 1-A through Nomus. All three will have important roles in the upcoming My Hero Academia Season 7.
New designs for MHA’s three main villains
As posted by Anime Corner, the new image does not appear to be directly related to Season 7 but will instead be used in merchandise and other ancillary material. However, the appearance of these three characters highlights how the villains in Season 6 are viewed after their “transformations.” For example, Tomura Shigraki is showing off his “reborn” appearance after having the procedures done to him at the request of All For One so that he could receive more Quirks and thus, stronger. Fans can tell that this is his “new form”, as his hair is now pure white and he is not wearing his “hands”.
As for Dabi, this is the look he revealed to his father during the pivotal battle in Season 6 when he revealed he was still alive. Dabi is actually the long-lost son of the current number one hero, as Endeavor and the others thought he was dead. The abuse and struggles Dabi went through for his father and his goal of creating a new number one hero drove him crazy, and he took advantage of his own family tragedy to bring down his name and reputation. by Endeavour.
Finally, Himiko Toga’s Quirk allows her to transform into other people and use their Quirks by taking their blood. She has developed an unhealthy obsession with people like Deku and Urvity and has pursued them relentlessly, including fighting Urvity in Season 6 to “get answers.” Manga fans know that there are many layers to Toga that are yet to be revealed and these will likely come to light in Season 7. All three villains will play a role in the new season due to the their relationships with important figures.
My Hero Academia Season 7 still doesn’t have a release date.
