One My Hero Academia fan hopes all is not lost for Tomura Shigaraki when the series ends.
Talented artist Trevo (@/Trevoshere) has done it again with their phenomenal alternate universe fan art for My Hero Academia. In this version, they imagined a possible ending to the series where Shigaraki was given a second chance at life instead of being imprisoned. In the artwork, Shigaraki sits on a bed with her hands bare as she reaches out to touch the corgi. Sitting beside him, All Might watched thoughtfully. With soft light streaming in, mostly on All Might, the artwork beautifully depicts a quiet moment the two share together in a hopefully not-too-distant future.
Trevo’s Emotional My Hero Academia AUs
Known for their emotionally vulnerable AUs, Trevo once created a series of short stories based on an alternate plot about All Might finding Shigaraki before All For One. Although this pivotal meeting prevented the birth of Shigaraki, the villain, and gave him a family in the form of All Might, it did little to quell feelings of abandonment and abandonment. resentment that Shigaraki feels in the original story. Trevo has not forgotten the other characters yet. The fan artist recently shared a “what if” scenario depicting Bakugo and Deku going back in time to meet All Might as his first hero.
It’s unclear if Trevo’s hopeful AU will materialize, given the current situation of the manga. In the recent and likely final installment of My Hero Academia, Shigaraki had a violent fight, seeking to destroy heroic society with the aim of stealing Deku’s Quirk One for All. Shigaraki was involved in a back-and-forth with All for One, with the former eventually regaining control of his body. Although Shigaraki has expressed his determination to tear the world apart, believing this to be the only solution, Deku will stop at nothing to save him.
My Hero Academia, written and illustrated by Kōhei Horikoshi, has become one of the best-selling manga series of all time. Many episodes have made the New York Times Best Sellers List. The manga has inspired a highly successful anime franchise, with a sixth season recently ending in March 2023. Season 7 has been green-lit and is currently in production.
