My Hero Academia Chapter 425 sets the stage for a new beginning and the students begin their post-war journey.
My Hero Academia Chapter 425 is definitely interesting and gives fans a look at a new beginning for the series. Of course, the vast majority of fans expected the series to end quickly after the war ended, however, Horikoshi decided to go against that notion and give fans a proper ending that Don't rush to do anything.
That's exactly why My Hero Academia is currently going through its mini-finale, and it will certainly continue for a while yet. This week's chapter of My Hero Academia introduces a proper start to the students' new lives after the war, with a lot of both sadness and joy.
Graduation ceremony of heroic students
By the end of the previous Chapter, fans finally saw Deku and the rest of the recovering students, such as Bakugo, return to UA. Of course, fans didn't actually get to see them take any classes in the previous Chapter. However, this week's Chapter fixed that problem and fans got to see everyone at UA once again. Initially, fans were treated to a reminiscent festival, only this time it was the graduation of the students. While Deku and his classmates advance to the next grade, there are also students leaving UA. The third year students have graduated and we look forward to creating a bright future for themselves. Among all these students, the ones who shine the most are of course Mirio Togata, Nejire Hado and Tamaki.
A world without humor will not have a bright future. So, a world of pluses, where everyone can spend their days smiling, is our true destination.

These individuals are given quite a bit of attention, especially Mirio. He gave a proper speech in this Chapter, and while everyone expected him to open with a humorous line, he gave a deep and profound speech, which addressed mentioned that the end of the war did not mean that their goal had been achieved. In fact, the losses caused by war are extremely huge and still remain negative. Their goal is not to turn a negative into a zero. Instead, they want to turn a negative into a positive, and only when things start going well for everyone will their goal be accomplished. After that, Mirio finally started doing his antics and once again cheered everyone up.
Of course, an event like a graduation ceremony must have a touching tone and the author certainly delivered that. Fans were completely captivated by the speech, and the humor was presented by the author true to Mirio Togata's personality. With that, things will definitely change in the hero rankings. Fans already know that Mirio is one of the brightest aspiring heroes, and as he's about to become a pro hero, things are going to get a lot more interesting. Hopefully fans can learn more about that later.
A new year begins
With the graduation of Class 3A students, the focus shifts to Class 2A students. Fans were surprised to learn that the class 1A student had finally graduated and this time it was official. As a new year begins, these students are finally showing improvement. Of course, fans expected to see a new teacher for Class 2A, however, Aizawa persisted with them. This was due to a shortage of Heroes at the moment and this essentially forced Aizawa to at least stick with them temporarily. This was definitely the right decision by the author, because changing the teacher at the end of the story certainly wouldn't bode well for fans. Aizawa is a familiar character and has been loved and admired by fans for many years.
It was a great decision for the author to stick with him in this part of the story and hopefully he will appear in the next few Chapters as well.
I will atone for my crimes and then I will try to become a Hero again. But I'll be fine. After all, I was holding hands with my friends! – Aoyama
Another extremely interesting individual who delivered a powerful moment in My Hero Academia Chapter 425 is Aoyama. In this Chapter, Aoyama himself finally announced that he will officially leave UA. Of course, this doesn't mean his dream of becoming a Hero is over. However, the only reason he applied to UA was because of All For One. Now that All For One is no more, he doesn't believe he has the right to stand alongside the other Heroes who worked so hard to reach this position. Aoyama still wants to become a Hero, but only if he truly deserves it. As such, he is on his own journey of redemption, which will eventually lead him to become a Hero. While this is a sad turn of events for the unique character that fans have come to love over the years, his future is certainly bright, especially when equipped with a naval laser.
While Aoyama leaves, another attractive student is introduced in his place and this person is none other than Hitoshi Shinso. Fans know that Shinso is a very interesting character who has excited quite a few fans since the Sports Festival Arc. During the war, he also played an important role and eventually, fans expected him to join class 1A. Now, as a new school year begins, he has joined class 2A as one of the new students. Shinso taking this class definitely helped ease the sadness of Aoyama leaving and it balanced things out quite well.
The ending of The Todoroki Family is coming to an end
There are other things in My Hero Academia Chapter 425 that the author also focuses on. Most importantly, this is the end of the Todoroki Clan, which is now closer. At the end of the Chapter, fans see Shoto standing in front of his father, Endeavor, who appears to be disabled at this point. Fans don't know if he will go on to become a Hero, but what they do know is that Shoto and Enji will soon have an in-depth conversation. The author also needs to stick with the Todoroki storyline forever, and that will definitely be interesting.
One scene that many fans may have missed in this Chapter is the scene of a person with black hair crying and panting while walking. This person resembles Kurogiri in many ways, however, there are some differences and it will be interesting to see who this mysterious figure is. Hopefully the author will explain everything to fans when the series returns after a long break later this month.
My Hero Academia is available to read via Viz Media. Fans can read the series officially and for free on the Shonen Jump and Manga Plus apps. My Hero Academia Next Chapter Release Date, My Hero Academia Chapter 426set for June 30, 2024.
