Latest box office information My Hero AcadeKaren: You're Next It was revealed that the film attracted 1.22 million viewers and earned 1.77 billion yen in revenue within 11 days of its release.
To celebrate this milestone, the film's production team has announced a second round of promotional giveaways for theatergoers.
Starting August 17, the limited edition mini shikishi set features original artwork by Kohei Horikoshi. The artwork features Deku, Bakugo, and Shoto Todoroki, along with Julio, an original character from the show, all styled with neatly parted butler-style hair.
It will be distributed to the first 500,000 moviegoers nationwide.
Additionally, the non-credit video for the film's theme song, Homonculus performed by Vaunty, was also revealed.

My Hero AcadeKaren THE MOVIE: You're Next will be released in theaters in Japan on August 2, 2024.
The film earned 370 million yen on its opening day, surpassing the opening day revenue of the previous series record holder, My Hero AcadeKaren THE MOVIE: World Heroes'Missionup 118%.

The film is based on an original story by author Kohei Horikoshi, who is also in charge of character designs and overall supervision for the film. The author said that the events in the film will follow the chronological order of the anime. My Hero AcadeKaren.
The film is set in the same timeline as the seventh season of the anime.
My Hero AcadeKaren is a manga series written and illustrated by Kohei Horikoshi. It was serialized in the magazine Weekly Shōnen Jump from July 2014 to August 2024, with the chapters collected into 41 tankobon volumes as of August 2024.
