Streaming giant Crunchyroll has sent us details about the world premiere of My Hero AcadeKaren Season 6. The original episode UA Heroes Battle will be shown at New York Comic Con 2023 on Friday the 13th. October 2023.
This early exclusive world preview will feature an English dub and will be made available to NYCC attendees before the film opens in Japan.
In this special episode, the cast will play the UA Battle of Heroes card game that the supporting course made. For a useful mix in e, Crunchyroll will be giving away limited edition character cards at the show powered by UVS Games based on the new original episode and playable with the My Hero AcadeKaren Collectible Card Game. In our mind, this is an extremely attractive promotion.

Join Crunchyroll at New York Comic Con this fall for the world premiere of all-new original episodes from My Hero Academia Season 6 titled “UA HEROES BATTLE”. The film screening will take place on Friday, October 13 at 5pm ET (10pm BST) at the Empire Stage for all NYCC attendance badge holders.

Third-year student, Mirio Togata, visits the students of Class 1-A school who are bored because they can’t go out. He brought them a card game called UA Battle of Heroes that the support course made. This game, where players can use the cards of multiple UA students, is very difficult, just like UA itself. Who will win in the card battle?!

My Hero AcadeKaren is a television anime based on the popular manga by Kohei Horikoshi that was serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump (Shueisha) and sold more than 85 million copies. It is set in a world where about 80% of the population has super strong Quirks. Heroes protect people and society from accidents, disasters, and vicious criminals who use their Quirks for evil purposes. The story of Izuku Midoriya and his classmates in UA High School and their growth, fighting, and friendship unfold as they aim to become such heroes.
