Popular anime My Dress-Up Darling has received new official artwork featuring main character Marin Kitagawa. The image shows the fan-favorite character dressed in a yukata for the upcoming anime-specific merchandise collection.
My Dress-Up Darling's official X account (formerly Twitter) has released new Marin artwork, featuring the main character dressed in a blue yukata and red obi, looking confused as one of her sandals comes off. The artwork was released ahead of My Dress-Up Darling's upcoming product collaboration with PremiumShop, which promises “original merchandise featuring newly drawn summer illustrations.” Check out the Marin artwork below.

New Anime 'My Dress-Up Darling' Promises a Summer-Friendly Merchandise Collection
PremiumShop's merchandise collaboration with My Dress-Up Darling will launch on August 24, 2024, in four cities in Japan, with the post above teasing more information about the upcoming launch. The store will also sell a previously released My Dress-Up Darling clothing collection under the MILKFED brand, which can be seen above and features a Marin and Shizuku graphic T-shirt, hoodie, and shoulder bag. The previous collection was available for purchase worldwide via the WorldShopping service.
The new artwork follows the anime's animation director's illustration of Marin in June, titled “Ohisa/Long time no see,” while the series as a whole continues to have a summery feel; Melty Princess recently announced an upcoming Marin-chan figure release, in which she's wearing her swimsuit from Volume 2. Meanwhile, original manga author Shinichi Fukuda released a color illustration of Marin in a “Chinese-style” waitress dress ahead of the opening of pop-up cafes in Ikebukuro and Osaka this summer and fall.
