Fans of My Dress-Up Darling will soon have a new way to experience Marin Kitagawa and her amazing anime cosplays once again. The anime series is partnering with trading card game Build Divide to exclusively release autographed cards.
The official Build Divide website has announced that they will be releasing new cards based on the anime series My Dress-Up Darling. Both the starter set and booster pack will be released on October 25, 2024. A booster pack will retail for 330 yen ($2.07 USD), while booster pack boxes (16 packs each box) will cost 5,280 yen (33.07 USD). The original deck will cost 1,650 yen ($10.33), and a box of six decks will cost 9,900 yen ($61.99).

Build Divide and My Dress-Up Darling Collaborate on the official trading card game
While My Dress-Up Darling fans will have to wait until fall to purchase these cards, a preview of the upcoming collaboration has already been released publicly. Marin can be seen wearing various costumes from the anime, like a traditional Japanese kimono, a scary witch for Halloween, and a Santa Claus costume for Christmas. The other card concepts are memorable scenes from the anime starring Marin, Wakana Gojo, and Sajuna Inui. Hina Suguta (Marin), Shoya Ishige (Wakana) and Atsumi Tanezaki (Sajuna) will also sign the cards.
My Dress-Up Darling isn't the first anime series to collaborate with a collectible card game. Aniplex's multimedia franchise, Liden Films and card game company Yuhodo have previously released anime-themed card decks of popular series such as Lycoris Recoil, Bocchi the Rock! and the television series NieR: Automata. These anime, along with My Dress-Up Darling, are all available to stream on Crunchyroll. The second layer of Nier: Automata Ver1.1a is part of Crunchyroll's Summer 2024 lineup for July. Crunchyroll will also distribute the new Bocchi the Rock! General films in North America.
