Spring is one of the most wonderful times of the year, unless you have hay fever. If you do, may whatever god you pray to be with you. If you are a god and still have to deal with it, then life is beyond saving. Animated by the legendary WIT Studio (Ancient Magus Bride, Vinland Saga) and produced by Dentsu and Twin Engine, My Deer Friend Nokotan is a poignant look at the human condition. While we may think we are at the pinnacle of evolution, what would happen if a deer-human hybrid suddenly appeared? How would we cope if we were no longer at the top of the food chain? That is the dilemma that Torako “Koshitan” Koshi faces every day. When a former criminal encounters a deer-human hybrid, her life is torn apart and her carefully crafted facade as a model individual is torn apart by her newfound companion.
