The upcoming game titled “Mushoku Tensei: Unemployment Reincarnated – Memory Quest” has announced an official launch date of June 20, 2024. The game will be available for PS4 consoles , PS5, Nintendo Switch and Steam, where players can experience one of the best stories in all of anime in a much more immersive way. Watch its latest trailer below:
Life is a sad affair, you have to work until you retire. By then, your knees no longer work, your back is bent like an NTR doujin, and middle age is about 20/30 years ago (don't let them lie to you, 35 is middle age). It's hard to create some excitement in life. Travel is always getting more expensive, your salary doesn't cover luxuries, and HIDIVE isn't available outside the US. So, what can you do? You can pretend to be Rudy and explore the demon continent with Superd and a hot-tempered tsundere that the light novel brothers guarantee will one day become a fascinating character.
Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation – Quest of Memories promises to be a game of the exploration/fighting genre, where you can not only relieve yourself of the adventures depicted by the Dead End team's anime, but also enjoy Enjoy all-new missions that bring back the original characters and anime – omitted content. Players will even have the option to watch the adventures of Roxy, Talhand and Elinalise. Something anime viewers and light novel readers have never seen in animation.
The single player game is brought to you by Bushiroad Games (RIP SIFAS) and depending on the version will vary in price from:
- Limited Edition PS4 & PS5 – ¥9,680 (~ 63 USD )
- Regular physical version – ¥6,380 (~$42 USD)
- Steam Digital Edition – ¥6,380 (~$42 USD)
Dubbed the “Grandfather of Isekais”, Mushoku Tensei is a work in a class of its own. From the complex and brilliantly written characters, the polarizing takes on social norms and the world-building is exquisitely crafted. The story follows Rudeus Greyrat, a dead man now reborn, who is given another chance at life and decides that he will have the best second move he personally can have. But one day, a catastrophic magical event teleported him and a friend to the Demon Continent, and together with Superd Ruijerd, he set out to find a home.
