Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation season 2 part 2 has revealed its first image ahead of its April 2024 release date. The news came in a special chapter “~I’m serious even when reporting on the status my present~” commemorates the Blu-ray release of volume 2 of the first season. The event was attended by Yumi Uchiyama and Ai Kayano, the voice actresses of Rudy and Sylphiette. Check out the new image below:
Staff for the second season includes Hiroki Hirano as director, Sanae Shimada as character designer, Toshiya Ono as series composer, Masakazu Miyake as art director, and Yoshiaki Fujisawa as composer. The theme songs for the first part of Mushoku Tensei: Unemployment Reborn season 2 are “Spiral” by LONGMAN (opening) and “Musubime” by Yuiko Ohara (ending).
The first season of Mushoku Tensei: Unemployed Reincarnated aired for 2 seasons in the Winter 2021 and Fall 2021 anime seasons with a total of 23 episodes. The first season was voted the best new anime (behind AoT), while the second season was the best overall anime of its respective seasons. This is also the 2021 anime of the year. The first part of the second season was ranked third in the Anime Summer 2023 ranking. Studio Bind’s anime is based on the light novel by Rifujin na Magonote with illustrations by Hirotaka.
Seven Seas is publishing the novel in English, while Crunchyroll is streaming the anime.
