The season will return on April 7 at 10:00 p.m. (actually at midnight on April 8 or at 11:00 a.m. EDT on April 7) on Tokyo MX, KBS Kyoto and BS11 channels. It will be broadcast on Sun TV channel.

Rifujin na Magonote originally published the story on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō (Let’s Become a Novelist) website from 2012 to 2015. Kadokawa’s MF Books imprint then began publishing the print version in 2014. The 26th was published in November 2022.
The first season of the novel’s first anime adaptation premiered in January 2021, and the second season premiered in 2021. October 2021, after a delay from that July. Funimation aired this season. Crunchyroll and Hulu are currently streaming the anime, including the original anime video episode (OVA) featuring the unaired side story “Eris the Goblin Slayer”.
