Things you need to know:
Mrs. GREEN APPLE has released “Lilac”, the opening theme song of the Oblivion Battery television anime series. Soon after, the music video “Lilac” debuted on Ms. GREEN APPLE's official YouTube channel. In this video, band members Motoki Ohmori (Vocals/Guitar), Hiroto Wakai (Guitar), and Ryoka Fujisawa (Keyboard) appear as students, performing in a classroom setting reminiscent of the music video Their “Speaking” eight years ago. This nostalgic image exudes youthful energy. Ohmori also took on the roles of teacher, cafe worker, mechanic, janitor, police officer, firefighter, produce shop employee, fishmonger, florist, child care worker sister and second-hand clothing store employee, while Wakai plays a barber and taxi driver, and Fujisawa appears as a traffic controller and carpenter. The final scene brings together all fifteen roles for an epic finale. Including their student roles, the band members play a total of 18 characters, so please note the unique characteristics for each role. Oblivion Battery airs on the TV Tokyo network every Tuesday at midnight, with Prime Video offering streaming immediately after each episode. It is also being gradually released on various streaming platforms every Wednesday at 12:30 a.m. (Please note that streaming schedules may vary depending on your country.)
