Many Anime from Funimation are still absent from Crunchyroll
Some of this series' loss to anime viewers comes at a time of great significance for their franchise. Crunchyroll may port more anime to Funimation pending a licensing agreement
The lack of movement could be explained by the licensing agreements the companies signed with Funimation, rather than Crunchyroll. It's currently unclear – but there's a reasonable possibility – that Crunchyroll is working on porting some of these series over in the coming weeks or months. While many Dragon Ball series remain unported, Crunchyroll has rapidly expanded its Dragon Ball catalog internationally, with France and the UK receiving over 800 episodes. However, Crunchyroll has been criticized by some viewers for things directly within its control, such as the compensation program for digital copies of paid Blu-ray discs, of which many people describe the process as difficult and inconsistent.
