The Mobile Suit GTA SEED FREEDOM anime film has announced its release date in the cities of Los Angeles and New York City in the United States. Film screenings in both cities will welcome special guests on March 31.

The LA premiere will welcome voice actors Soichiro Hoshi and Rie Tanaka, who voice the characters Kira Yamato and Lacus Clyne. They will be joined by NYAV Post owner/British producer Michael Sinterniklaas and Stephanie Sheh, the English voice of Lacus Clyne. Meanwhile, Alyson Leigh Rosenfield, the English voice of Lunamaria, will be a guest at the film's screening in New York City, which will feature a video commentary by Director Mitsuo Fukuda.
The Mobile Suit GTA Seed Freedom movie was released in Japanese theaters on January 26 this year and was animated by Sunrise (Bandai Namco Filmworks). Fukuda directed the film and co-wrote the script with his late wife Chiaki Morosawa along with Liu Goto. The cast participating in the anime film includes:

The official summary of Mobile Suit GTA SEED FREEDOM is as follows: CE (Space Age). An era in which there are humans known as Coordinators, born with superior physical and mental abilities through genetic modification, and humans known as Naturals who are born naturally. With their respective existences, the ideological conflict between the Coordinators and the Naturals escalated into war using force. Along the way, the Destiny Plan was proposed, which would force each individual to assign roles and create a world without competition. But in the midst of the war, this Fate Plan was rejected in order to protect humanity's future aspirations and freedom.
