Anime based on isekai light novel series will premiere in October
The official website for Takuma Sakai’s Heat the Pig Liver (Buta no Liver wa Kanetsu Hiro) television anime revealed two more cast members on Friday.
The new cast includes Miyu Tomita as Ceres (first image below) and Kent Itō as Nott (second image, unofficial character spelling).

The anime will premiere in October, but will have its first screening in Tokyo on September 30.
Masayuki Takahashi ( assistant director of Higehiro, Reborn as a Vending Machine, I Now Wander the Dungeon) is directing the anime at project No.9. Deko Akao (Higehiro, Komi Can’t Communication, Flying Witch) is supervising the series’ scripts, and Susumu Watanabe (Did not I Say to Make My Abilities Average in the Next Life?!, Yōjo Shachō R) is designing the characters. object. In the isekai story, if you pass out while eating raw pig liver, you will reincarnate as a pig in a fantasy world and embark on an adventure with a kind girl named Jess who can read people’s thoughts. That’s exactly what happens to an ordinary otaku with no abilities or talents, other than being reincarnated as a pig.
Yoshitsugu Matsuoka voices the pig and Tomori Kusunoki voices Jess. The two reprise their roles in Dengeki Bunko’s series promotional video from March 2020.
Sakai launched the novel series with illustrations by Asagi Tōsaka (The Demon Sword Master of Excalibur Academy, Girly Air Force) in March 2020, after winning the gold (actually second place) in the Awards. The 26th Dengeki Novel 2019. Kadokawa’s Dengeki Bunko Publishing House is publishing the novel in print.
Minami launched an ongoing manga adaptation in Kadokawa’s Dengeki Maoh magazine in August 2020.
