From the beginning of Jujutsu Kaisen, Satoru Gojo emphasized his goal of nurturing students who could one day surpass him in strength, intelligence, and skill. However, recent events in the manga suggest a different outcome.
While Gojo may not be a perfect teacher, he serves as a mentor, introducing his students to the magical world of Jujutsu and guiding them through its complexities.
But with Gojo's death, a significant power vacuum has appeared, one that no one seems able to fill. Throughout the series, Gojo reiterates his intention to train successors among his students, including Yuji Itadori, Megumi Fushiguro, Yuta Okkotsu, and Kinji Hakari.
During the Stress Killer Game, it became clear that these students possessed remarkable potential. Yuta is hailed as the strongest wizard of modern times, second only to Gojo himself. Hakari has demonstrated a formidable ability with his Domain Expansion, granting him temporary invincibility.
Yuji, although still unfamiliar with Jujutsu, showed rapid progress in mastering advanced techniques in preparation for his match with Sukuna. And Megumi's Ten Shadows Technique hinted at Gojo's potential power.

Despite these promising signs, Gojo's demise at the hands of Ryomen Sukuna came as a severe blow.
The ensuing battle sees Sukuna overwhelm most of the characters, including Megumi, who is under his control, and Yuta, who is helpless against a deadly attack.

When conflict erupts, Yuji perseveres despite severe injuries, while Hakari engages in a fierce battle off-screen. However, it is clear that none of Gojo's students had the opportunity to reach their full potential after his death.
Some may argue that mangaka Gege Akutami did not adequately prepare Yuji or Yuta to step into Gojo's shoes. As the struggle against Sukuna continues, the future of the Jujutsu world looks bleak, leaving fans to ponder what lies ahead.
