That means the upcoming sequel to The Misfit of Demon King Academy won’t be titled season 3 but will be called Part 2, Part 2.
Considering the last season (Season 2 Part 1) faced a “seasonal delay”, there is a high possibility that the season 2 season 2 premiere date will not be in the near future. The Misfit of Demon King Academy season 2 part 2 will probably air on Fall 2024 or Winter 2025.
The anime series is based on the light novel series of the same name written by Shu and illustrated by Yoshinori Shimuza. Up to now, there have been 18 episodes released, and part 2, part 1, which just ended, has adapted episodes 4-6. Therefore, there is more than enough material to animate the sequel.
