Metal Rouge Season 1 Episode 12 Recap
In episode 12 of “Metallic Rouge,” we get to see a lot of action and drama. The episode begins with Opera talking to the Junoids about how well their plan is going. Meanwhile, Puppetmaster chats with Cyan, hinting that something big is about to happen.
We then see Rouge and Naomi meeting someone they think is Jean but Naomi quickly realizes it's Jaron in disguise. Rouge also suspects and confirms it is Jaron, and they eventually follow him to find the real Jean.
Suddenly, there was a loud noise signaling a fight nearby. Rouge and Naomi thought their friend Eden was fighting and they were right. Eden is in a difficult battle with Graufon, who is very determined but is ultimately killed by Eden. Before he died, Graufon told Eden that he believed in Jill's plan even though he knew it had flaws.
Returning to Jaron, he took Rouge and Naomi to a strange place. Jill shows up and calls Jaron out for constantly switching sides and they fight. Jill wins and makes it clear that she never liked Jaron.
Meanwhile, Jean and Aes are on the Puppetmaster's ship and come across Eden. Jean asks for Eden's help, calling him father, which adds intrigue to the story. The puppeteer who was still manipulating Cyan seemed to be preparing for the final act.
Jill then confronts Rouge and Naomi, revealing that Rouge plays a key role in her plan because of her unique ID. Jill wants Rouge to join her, but Rouge refuses. During their fight, Jill seriously injured Rouge and took her identification papers.
Rouge feels betrayed when Naomi seems to run away. But Naomi is actually on a mission. She runs into Jaron, who helps her find the control room to stop Jill's plan. Before disappearing, Jaron said he was just looking for fun before he died and hinted that he knew a big secret.
Feeling guilty for leaving Rouge, Naomi turns around to find her barely holding on. In a grand gesture, Naomi gives Rouge her identification, hoping it will help her survive without her identification.
The episode also deals with Opera dealing with betrayal and failed plans. In a difficult situation, Rouge confronts Jill again, this time aided by Naomi's ID. The war took a new turn when Ash and Aes arrived with news about Eden and Jean.
In the final scenes, Eden and Jean discover important data called the Eve Code, while Rouge learns from Ash that the Puppet Master is her father, Roy. The episode ends with Roy revealing his true identity and questioning Rouge's sense of freedom.
