Mecha-Ude: Mechanical Arms has revealed its final trailer, along with the anime's streaming information. It will launch on October 3, with Crunchyroll streaming worldwide and Aniplus streaming in Asia. TriF Studio handled the animation, with Okamoto directing as the original creator. The anime previously introduced the theme songs in its teaser trailers.

Mecha-Ude is an original anime conceived and directed by Okamoto, a member of TriF Studio. The creator also directed the 2018 short film with TriF. It was launched after a successful crowdfunding campaign and raised about $67,000 in less than 2 months.
The anime television series will also feature series composition by Yasuhiro Nakanishi, character designs by Terumi Nishii and Yoko Uchida, Nurikabe in charge of Mecha-Ude design and concept art, and music by Hiroyuki SAWANO, KOHTA YAMAMOTO and DAIKI.
The story follows Hikaru Amatsuga, a young boy who meets Alma, a mysterious mechanical life form Mecha-Ude attached to his body. Instead, it failed and connected to his hoodie. However, he still joined a group of other Mecha-Ude users and fought against the evil organization trying to enslave mechas.
