McDonald’s Japan and Type-Moon have announced a Christmas-themed collaboration with mobile game Fate/Grand Order for the holiday season. The campaign starts on November 29, 2023 and will run until Christmas Day on December 25, 2023.
During the campaign, fans can purchase items from the McDonald’s Japan value set and save their receipt for a chance to win one of two prizes a portrait artwork exclusive or a specially designed McDonald’s card.
This collaboration was introduced by McDonald’s Japan Twitter account earlier this week with silhouettes of two Fate/Grand Order Servant characters.

Three different designs for portraits and cards will be offered throughout the campaign and will change weekly. Each of them featured Fate/Grand Order characters in Santa costumes and holiday-themed outfits. Characters in portraits and cards include:
• First week: Artoria Pendragon and Nightingale (November 29 to December 7) • Second week: Karna and Quetzalcoatl (December 8 to December 16) • Third week: Attilia the San (ta), Martha and Jeanne d’Arc Alter Santa Lily (December 17 to December 25)
The cards will have the same design as the portraits and fans can win two of them if they are lucky. A total of 10 lucky winners will have the chance to win portraits each week and 1,000 winners will have the chance to win cards.
You can find more details about the campaign rules, regulations and prizes section on the main event home page. Value collection receipts purchased with coupons or apps are still eligible for the campaign. Photos of receipts must be fully visible and have a resolution of 1,600 x 1,200 pixels when they are submitted. Purchases of breakfast combos are excluded from the campaign.
