The new theme marks the show’s third year of broadcasting

The official Twitter account of Yu-Gi-Oh! The anime franchise revealed on Monday that Masayoshi Ōishi and Ayaka Nanase will perform the new opening and ending themes for Yu-Gi-Oh! Go Rush!!, the eighth main anime series in Yu-Gi-Oh! Franchising. Ōishi will perform the opening theme song “Duel Shiyō ze!”(Let’s Duel), while Nanase will perform the ending theme song “Star Rush”. Both songs will premiere in the anime in April.
The anime premiered in April 2022 and will enter its third year of broadcasting in April 2024.
The anime is set in the birthplace of the famous card game Rush Duel, Mutsuba-cho. The twins Yūhi and Yuamu run UTS (Uchūjin Trouble Sōdansho or Alien Trouble Consulting), a group that (supposedly) eliminates troublesome aliens from remote areas of the galaxy through battles. Rush Duel. However, one day they found a real spaceship and inside they found Yudias, an alien from the Belgar Cluster. Yudias has come to Earth in search of a Rush Duel that hopes to lead him and his friends (who have been kicked out of their star system) to a new future. However, Yudias himself knew nothing about Rush Duel. Yūhi then challenges Yudias to a duel.
The anime features an alien as the main character for the first time in the series.
Nobuhiro Kondō (both Yu-Gi-Oh! Sevens) is directing the anime at studio Bridge. Naoto Hashimoto is the assistant director. Toshimitsu Takeuchi (Yu-Gi-Oh! Sevens) is overseeing the film’s scripts, and Masahiro Hikokubo is once again in charge of match layout. Kazuko Tadano and Hiromi Matsushita also return from Yu-Gi-Oh! Sevens is the character designer and Hiroshi Yamamoto will return as sound director.
Naoya Sugita (Majin Bone, Muttsuri Shinken, Zan) launched the manga for the anime series in Shueisha’s Saikyō Jump magazine in April 2022. Masahiro Hikokubo is credited as Duel for the manga.
