In the previous episode of Masamune-kun’s Revenge, Masamune Makabe confessed his feelings and gave a gift to Aki Adagaki. She respectfully refused and hoped he would understand. She said, “Last goodbye.”

Teachers are worried about Masamune Makabe being absent from class for four consecutive days. He will then take attendance of the students present in the class. During the vacation, his friends were also worried!
We later learn that spring break may start before Masamune Makabe returns. During the conversation, Sonoka Kaneko asked Neko Fujinomiya if she knew why he didn’t come. And as expected, she also knew that. We found out from Sonoka Kaneko’s questions and Fujinomiya’s conversation that Masamune Makabe doesn’t answer anyone’s calls or messages. Our boy is heartbroken after his last conversation with Aki Adagaki.
Neko Fujinomiya thinks Masamune Makabe might be sick so he wants to miss school until he gets better.
