The second volume of Nozomi Mino’s Rose and Killer (Bara to Koroshiya) manga revealed on August 25 that the manga will end with a third volume and will publish in January 2024.
The manga revolves around Ari, a girl who has just been killed by her parents right in front of her and the hired killers also intend to kill her. Running from murder, tired and desperate, a character comes to her rescue, a professional assassin named Kei Bishin. Together with Kei, Ari is determined to return to the organization that murdered her parents.
Mino launched the manga in Shogakukan’s Cheese magazine! magazine in December 2022. The magazine previously revealed the manga was titled Karasu to Usagi (Crow and Rabbit), but the title changed when the manga launched.
Mino launches the Yakuza Lover (Koi to Dangan) manga in Shogakukan’s Premium Cheese magazine! magazine in March 2018, before moving the series to sister magazine Cheese! in April 2019. The manga’s main story ends in June 2022. The manga is also serialized on Premium Cheese! by Shogakukan! magazine titled Koi to Dangan Special Bullet, and the manga ended publication in that magazine in July 2022. Shogakukan published the manga’s 12th and final volume in November 2022.
Viz Media is releasing the manga in English, and published the manga’s ninth compiled book volume on June 13.
The manga inspired a live-action film adaptation premiering in October 2022.
