The hit manga Mashle: Magic and Muscles will end in a few days.
According to Manga Mogura RE, the Harry Potter Mashle parody fantasy adventure manga will end in the upcoming Issue 31 of Weekly Shōnen Jump. The final chapter, Chapter 162, will release on Sunday, July 2. Volume 18, the final volume of the series, will ship on October 4.
Mighty Muscles of Magic vs. Mash
Written and illustrated by Hajime Kōmoto, Mashle: Magic and Muscles premiered in Weekly Shōnen Jump in January 2020. Set in a world where one’s position in society is determined by the amount of strength. the magic they have, Mash Burnedead is probably at the bottom. since he doesn’t have any kind of magical inclinations. Despite this, he still enrolled at Easton Magic Academy, a prestigious magic school that normally only accepts students with extraordinary powers. Mash may not have magic, but he has muscles to make up for it and he will prove to everyone that in a world where magic is powerful, muscles are stronger.
The manga has recorded more than five million copies in circulation as of April 2023. The series has also received several nominations including the Shogakukan Manga Award for shōnen and entered several shortlisted manga nominations. . Despite Mashle’s similarities to Harry Potter and One-Punch Man, critics praised Mashle for his humor and action sequences.
A-1 Pictures (Kaguya-sama: Love Is War and the upcoming Solo Leveling anime) produced the anime adaptation of Mashle and released the series in April 2023. Tomoya Tanaka is directing the anime with Yōsuke Kuroda writing the script. and Masaru Yokoyama composed the music. Chiaki Kobayashi voices Mash, with Aleks Le voicing the English voice. Reiji Kawashima voices Finn Ames, Mash’s roommate with Brian Timothy Anderson as the English dub. Kaito Ishikawa portrays Lance Crown, Mash’s rival, with Stephen Fu as the English dub. Volume 12 “Mash Burndead and the Magic Mirror” will release on July 1st.
