The second play takes place in Tokyo and Osaka from February 15-25
The official website for the stage play adaptation of Yūji Kaku’s Hell’s Paradise: Jigokuraku manga revealed on November 23 a second stage play titled Hell’s Paradise-Tsui no Shō-(Hell’s Paradise-Final Chapter -), will run from February 15 to 25 at Theater 1010 in Tokyo and at the TT Hall of Cool Japan Park in Osaka. The website also revealed the promotional video, key visuals, and cast of the second stage play.

The manga focuses on Gabimaru, once honored as the strongest ninja, but has now quit his job because he violated the village’s laws. After his arrest, he claimed he had nothing left to live for. However, due to his superhuman level of training, he accidentally survived many executions, ranging from beheading attempts to burning alive. The executioner Sagiri Asaemon told him that he was still attached to life and gave him a mission to win his acquittal: find the elixir of immortality.
Kaku launched the manga on Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+ website and app in January 2018, and ended the series in January 2021. The manga’s 13th and final volume was published in April 2021.
Viz Media released the manga digitally through the Shonen Jump service, and Shueisha also released the manga through the MANGA Plus service. Viz Media also released the manga in print.
The manga was also adapted into a television anime, which premiered on April 1. The anime will also have a second season.
