Following last week’s September 2 fan screening, the anime film Rascal Does Not Dream of a Sister Ventures Out will receive a wide release in Malaysia and begin screening on September 7.

Rascal Does Not Dream of a Sister ventures Out is a sequel to the 2018 animated series Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai and the 2019 film Rascal Does Not Dream of a Dreaming Girl. The series premiered first in Japan on June 23, and the follow-up film, Rascal Does Not Dream of a Knapsack Kid, will be released in Japan in December. The two films will conclude main character Sakuta’s high school years.

After an exhausting December, Sakuta is finishing his sophomore year of high school. Since Mai is a third year student, they don’t have much time together before graduation. The series follows Sakuta helping various girls suffering from a supernatural affliction called Adolescence Syndrome, which is related to related to the social problems they face in the real world.
