Fans of both Hatsune Miku and Magic the Gathering can rejoice because the famous vocaloid will appear in the also-popular trading card game starting this month via the Secret Lair sub-brand.
Wizards of the Coast announced last week that there will be four Hatsune Miku seasons, each themed after a different season. First up is Secret Lair x Hatsune Miku: Sakura Superstar, which WotC says is inspired by “the cherry blossoms and lightning of Japanese spring.” This drop will be part of the game's Spring Superdrop 2024 and will be available for purchase from May 13 at 9AM PT to June 2 at 11:59PM PT while supplies last.

If you want to be notified about the start of the Spring Superdrop 2024, you can enter your email on the official Secret Lair website. If you're unfamiliar with this Secret Lair business, WotC describes it as follows:
Each drop puts a brand new spin on your favorite cards and might even feature something completely new. Think about collaborating with all kinds of different artists, some with styles you've never seen on a Magic card before, others with different weird and wonderful ways to celebrate the game. Stay tuned: you never know what will happen next with Secret Lair.
Secret Lair has collaborated with the likes of Street Fighter and Godzilla in the past. The first season debuted in December 2019.
The remaining Hatsune Miku installments will be released this year as part of other Secret Lair blockbusters.
