Earlier this month, an anime music video by WIT STUDIO produced for “Tokyo Clone,” a 2023 single by After The Rain (artist duo included Soraru and Mafumafu), premiered at the After The Rain pop-up store at the Shibuya Sakura Stage. That video is now available to watch on Mafumafu’s YouTube channel.
“Tokyo Clone” was directed, written and directed by the animator Shun Miyakawa. Miyakawa also co-designed the music video characters with Hideki “HAHI” Hamazaki, drew some key animation, and supervised the animation as animation director. Other names in the staff credits include;

The video is “presented” by Creator’s Power Spot Harajuku, a joint initiative between Tokyu Land Corporation and Pony Canyon that seeks to make Harajuku and Jingumae an even more attractive location. Shibuya Sakura Stage’s temporary store announcement notes that After the Rain is a supporter of the project.
