Lupine the 3rd: Part III 13
Lupine III Part 3 13
ルパン三世 – Part III Ep. 13
Summary/SPOILER Summary
Zenigata chases after a disguised Lupine, who cannot hide from the detective. Instead, Zenigata's sticky capture devices remove most of Lupin's hair and clothing. Finally, Zenigata traps Lupine in a giant flypaper-like trap. Lupine tricks Zenigata into thinking he has an explosive stick, allowing Goemon to rescue him. However, this ordeal leaves Lupine exhausted, he can barely react to Fujiko's attempts to seduce him to help him with his work.
Fujiko takes Lupine to a large castle owned by Madame Luisa. Because this is an event for women, Lupine disguises himself as a woman. The main castle, where the party is held, turns out to be a rocket shuttle named Victoria. While returning to orbit to land, the Victoria was attacked by fighter aircraft. Lupine gets the women to give him their jewelry to try to bribe his enemies. When they land, Fujiko reveals that she is with enemy troops.
Meanwhile, Zenigata finishes work on a new device to capture Lupine. Since Lupine is a hostage along with other wealthy women, Zenigata is sent to deliver the ransom. There is no money for Lupine, so Fujiko tells the freed women that they can kill him while he is hanged on the cross. A flock of crows intervenes, allowing Zenigata to capture Lupin. However, he ends up losing Lupine, who Goemon saves, only to fall down a waterfall.
Lupine climbs up a well and discovers he is on Madame Luisa's estate. He finds a secret entrance to the castle. There, he discovers a room filled with characters, including Superman, Zenigata, and himself. He used Zenigata's clothes and entered the castle. There was a beaten “Fujiko”, who was actually Mrs. Luisa. She wants Lupine to kill her because she is disfigured. Lupine refuses so she commits suicide. Outside the castle, Lupine stops Zenigata, only for a crow to do something supernatural to him.
Thinking/Evaluating
Alright, Lupine part 3: Part III 13 is practice Lupine III stupidest thing I've ever seen. Then I learned that the author of this episode was also part of the so-called farce Lupine III: The Legend of Babylon's Gold.
Completely meaningless
Nothing about Lupine the 3rd: Part III 13 really meaningful. It's just a series of events tied together. As I understand it, Luisa lost an eye and wanted to die. But because she was rich, she came up with the craziest plan to do this. However, she spends a lot of money on an autopilot rocket shuttle to disguise it as the central castle keep. She then held a large party for 150 wealthy women.
She then disguises herself as Fujiko with a plan to rob them of their jewelry and the like. But while she's disguised as Fujiko, she's also working with several large guerilla forces (with fighters) to take the women hostage. She then ties Lupine to a cross to be killed, but then a giant flock of murderous crows attacks everyone while eating all the jewelry. Huh??? ????
Miraculously, this large army of guerrillas also happens to be on Luisa's property, so that Lupine can sneak back to what's left of the castle. Well, first, he has to eat a live crow. ????♂️But luckily, there is a tunnel back to the castle and a room with characters in it. And then when Lupine faced Luisa, in her tattered Fujiko disguise, he knew that she would have killed him because he was a worm to her. But she wants him to kill her because she is missing an eye and is therefore ugly. So when Lupine doesn't do it, she kills herself.
Seriously, this whole plan makes no sense to me.
Final thoughts and conclusion
Let me end my review with some final thoughts.
When I saw Zenigata chasing Lupine who was clearly in disguise, I was hoping it would be something better than whatever stupidity we encountered. The whole thing plays out like some bad trashy cartoon, which this cartoon probably does too. What happened to the murderous crows? Like I said, this episode is just stuff thrown together. I have a feeling that the idiot who wrote this article was influenced by a lot of things he saw, so he just threw everything into the pot. Speaking of crows, what happened to Lupin? The crow's eyes eventually turned red. Then Lupine's eyes turned red. And that's the end of the episode. Extremely annoying because the next episode will almost certainly forget this episode. Goemon makes two deus ex machina appearances to save Lupine by surprise. But that's better than Jigen, who did nothing.
Final, Lupine the 3rd: Part III 13 is a television episode Lupine III Worst I've ever seen. And it's down there as part of the thing Lupine III worst ever produced.
