The Love Live! franchise is making the leap to live-action with Love Live! School Idol Musical the DRAMA, a drama series that will air on MBS's Dramafil channel starting November 21 JST.

Keijiro Tsubakimoto and Hiroto Totsuka is co-directing based on a screenplay by Koki Kishimoto. As tradition, Sakurako Kimino (Strawberry Panic author) is credited as the writer of the manuscript.
The Love Live! multimedia franchise started in 2013. For fans of the Love Live! anime, the Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club Kanketsu-hen trilogy debuted its first season earlier this month, while the third season of Love Live! Superstar!! will premiere on October 8 JST.
