What happened in Chapter 520 of Lookism?

In Lookism 520, we learn more about Gun Park's difficult past and why he became the person he is today.

Shingen Yamazaki is the father of Gun Park. He was the leader of the Yamazaki Clan but lost a great battle with the Fist Gang.

This failure left him feeling desperate. In order to create a new warrior that could bring power to the clan, the vice president arranged for women from Yakuza families to be given to Shingen Yamazaki, so that he could create the ultimate warrior.

Park Somi gave birth to the strongest child with strange eyes (super instinct) and the child was named Gun Park. From a young age, Gun showed incredible talent.

But his mother was very strict and didn't want him to act like a normal child. Instead, she wanted him to be strong and act like a leader. So Gun grew up believing that in order to be loved, he had to fight and be the best.

Back in Gun Park's high school days, Gun began taking down various gangs and recruiting members to his side. He was very strong, but he began to wonder why fighting was the only thing he knew.

He feels torn about his role and doesn't really want to be the next leader of the clan. The only person who brings out his softer side is Yamazaki Haruto, whom he respects and never wants to fight.

When Gun decided he didn't want to lead the clan, the vice president was furious. He even ordered Gun to kill Haruto, who had broken the clan's rules and influenced Gun's decision.

The Vice President is determined to take revenge on the Fist Gang and restore their honor at all costs.

At the end of the Chapter, Gun Park decided not to take over as the leader of the Yamazaki Clan. He was supposed to win the right to change his name and become the next leader but he chose a different path, we will learn more in the next Chapter.

Is Gun Park related to Daniel Park?

There is no solid evidence that Gun Park and Daniel Park are related but we will most likely find out in the next Chapter.

The flashback scene starts after the conversation between Gun Park and Daniel Park so it's possible that PTJ is hinting to us that they are related.

Some fans believe that Daniel could be Aunt Gun's son, making them family. But for now, these are just theories and we'll have to wait and see.

Many fans are curious about Gun Park's past and how the Yamazaki Clan turned him into a monster. Both Gun and Daniel have the ability to exploit UI mode.
