The official Netflix Twitter account posted a new behind-the-scenes look at the live-action series One Piece coming out on August 21, 2023.
The video features comments from the cast and staff of the film adaptation, as they talk about their favorite characters and more.

One Piece live-action will release on August 31, 2023, exclusively on Netflix.
Live actors One Piece including Iñaki Godoy, who plays Monkey D. Luffy, Emily Rudd as Nami, Mackenyu as Roronoa Zoro, Jacob Romero Gibson as Usopp and Taz Skylar as Sanji. Colton Osorio will play the young Luffy.
Furthermore, Peter Gadiot will play Shanks, Morgan Davies as Koby, Ilia Isorelýs Paulino as Alvida, Aidan Scott as Helmeppo, Jeff Ward as Buggy, McKinley Belcher III as Arlong, and Vincent Regan as Garp.

The live-action version will adapt the East-Blue Saga from the One Piece manga and then “expand from there”. Matt Owens will be the writer of the upcoming show, while Steven Maeda and Becky Clements will be executive producer along with Eiichiro Oda.
The live action soundtrack, titled “Wealth, Fame, Power,” was composed by Sonya Belousova and Giona Ostinelli, who are best known for their work “The Witcher“.
Netflix will exclusively stream the series produced by Tomorrow Studios, a partnership between producer Marty Adelstein and ITV Studios.
The live-action film adaptation is being produced in South Africa as of 1 February 2022.
