As IFA celebrates its 100th anniversary in 2024, the theme of ‘Innovation’ highlights the integral role that storage plays in driving innovation. Lexar's rapid global expansion
On September 6, Lexar held a launch event to officially announce its global brand strategy, development progress in the European market, and latest products.
Founded in 1996, Lexar has sales channels worldwide and offers a wide range of storage and memory products to consumers. Europe is a core strategic market for Lexar, with the company investing heavily in brand promotion, cross-category product development, and local sales channels to serve the diverse needs of users across different European countries.
In 2023, despite challenging market conditions, Lexar achieved countercyclical growth, with global operations expanding 59.06% year-over-year. In addition, Lexar saw rapid business expansion in Europe, growing 159% year-over-year and covering more than 20 countries. The company's diverse products, including memory cards, SSDs, PSSDs, and DRAM, are popular and have secured high market share positions in key markets such as Poland, France, the Netherlands, and Germany.
Continuing this momentum, the company maintained 100% year-on-year sales growth in Europe in the first half of 2024.
