Plus-Sized Elf – New Anime Image | Launch date July 2024
The anime series is based on the manga by Synecdoche, which was originally serialized on Wani Books' Comic Gum website from 2016 to 2021. Synecdoche later self-published the series from April to May 2021 after licensing expired. The author has begun writing a manga titled Plus-Sized Elf: Second Help! in Dokodemo Young Champion, Akita Shoten's monthly seinen magazine for October 2021.
Seven Seas Entertainment licensed the manga in English and describes the plot as:
Naoe-kun, a massage therapist, comes home from the day he had to deal with a rather strange patient. This lovely woman has emerald eyes, pointy ears, and grew up in the woods – everything about her screams “elf,” except one thing: her toned body. It turns out she left her world but loved junk food in this world, and now her obsession has caught up with her. Can Naoe-kun help this adorable elf girl lose weight and maintain her figure?
