X's official account Laid-Back Camp announced the production of the anime series' fourth season on November 9, 2024.
Illustrations and comments from the series' original Creator, Afro, were released alongside the announcement.
The new illustration features the characters Ema Mizunami and Mei Nakatsugawa, who appeared in season 3.
Afro expressed excitement for the new season, hinting that The backstory of Ema Mizunami and Mei Nakatsugawa, who only appeared briefly in season 3 due to the limited number of episodes, will be explored further in season 4.
The author also teased the return of a “fluffy white thing” in his comment.
“Thank you for deciding to produce Laid-Back Camp Δ Season 4! In SEASON 3, the two new students can only appear briefly due to the limited number of episodes, but in SEASON 4, their story will be fully explored so please look forward to it! And that smooth white thing will return…”
Laid-Back Camp season 3, titled Yuru Camp△ SEASON3airing from April 4 to June 20, 2024.
For the third season, the animation studio was moved from C-Station to Eight Bit.
Studio C-Station made the first two seasons of the anime along with an anime film adaptation.
With the change in the production company, the main staff were also renewed for season 3. Shin Tosaka is the new director, Masafumi Sugiura is in charge of creating the series.
Hisanori Hashimoto is in charge of character design. However, composer Akiyuki Tateyama and sound director Takeshi Takadera reprized their roles.
Season 1 of the anime aired from January to March 2018; The anime is co-sponsored and licensed by Crunchyroll. A spin-off of a short anime titled Room Campaired from January to March 2020. A second anime season aired from January to April 2021, and an anime film premiered on July 1, 2022.

The manga was first serialized in Houbunsha's Manga Time magazine Kirara Forward magazine from July 2015 to February 2019 until being ported to the publisher's manga website and app called Comic Fuz. It has been collected into sixteen tankobon volumes.
