Kyoto Animation and the American composer behind Violet Evergarden and My Happy Marriage, Evan Call, are collaborating on a brand new project: a limited edition picture book and accompanying soundtrack.
As reported by Anime News Network, Kyoto Animation’s Taichi Ishidate and Evan Call, who previously worked together as directors and composers of Violet Evergarden, are producing a new story titled Hagure Hoshi no Uta or The Song of the Wandering Star. The story will be released as a picture book, accompanied by a soundtrack CD with 13 original songs. The bundle is available for pre-order now and costs 6,600 yen (about $46.34 USD). Pre-orders will run until January 8, 2024, and packages will ship at the end of January.
