The chapter’s title is “The Life of Kuma”, indicating that the chapter focuses on Kuma’s life and presents his perspective on the events of Thriller Bark, Sabaody, and the Marineford War, among others.
Chapter 1102 returns to the original timeline when Luffy was 17 years old. The highlight is Arlong’s defeat by Luffy and the reactions of characters such as Jinbei, Ace, as well as the 30 million Berry reward given to Luffy.
This chapter also explores Dragon’s concern for Luffy, after learning about his son’s bounty. Dragon travels to Loguetown to aid Luffy, culminating in their meeting in chapter 100, where Dragon saves Luffy from Smoker. And Kuma contemplates Luffy’s first reward. This chapter shows how closely Kuma followed the Straw Hats’ development trajectory, predicting important events in the future.
Then we also see Kuma saying that Luffy is the one who will save the world, but he came too early. Kuma said this before blasting Luffy and his group away from the Sabaody Archipelago.
Vegapunk opposes completely erasing Kuma’s personality, but Kuma still complies because of the agreement and wants peace of mind. Vegapunk decided to place Kuma’s memories in the bubble we saw in Egghead before.
Kuma gives Vegapunk one last message to deliver to Bonney. I want to tell her happy 10th birthday.
End of chapter. The flashback ends and we return to the present with Bonney crying as he sees Kuma’s memories.
Before that, Bonney – Kuma’s daughter set out to sea. Her determination to rescue her father was evident when she founded the Bonney pirates. She appears as an adult girl, with a unique appearance.
Sadly, there will be no new chapters next week due to Christmas break.
