The official website for “Kaina of the Great Snow Sea” (Ōyukiumi no Kaina), a television anime created by Tsutomu Nihei and Polygon Pictures, known for its work on “BLAME! ” and “Knights of Sidonia,” have unveiled a special video for the upcoming film sequel, “Kaina of the Great Snow Sea: Star Sage” (Ōyukiumi no Kaina: Hoshi no Kenja).
This captivating video features the film’s theme song, “Gekkōyoku” (Bathed in Moonlight), performed by Yorushika, perfectly paired with the film’s stunning shots, accompanied by poignant lyrics.

Japanese audiences eagerly await the film’s premiere on October 13, while fans in the United States get to enjoy an exclusive screening at Anime Expo on July 2. Additionally, a special preview screening with cast will take place at TOHO Cinemas Shinjuku in Tokyo on October 8.

The story’s focus revolves around Kaina, a boy living on Canopy, and Liliha, princess of the small nation of Atland located in the Great Snow Sea.
