Official website of anime Kaiju No. 8 has announced that season 2 is scheduled to air in 2025.
Additionally, it was revealed that a compilation film of Season 1, along with a special episode titled'Hoshina's Day Off'is currently in production and will hit theaters in 2025.
Accompanying the announcement is a new PV.

Kaiju No. 8 Season 1 aired from April 13 to June 29, 2024.
The series is produced by Production I.G., with Studio Khara overseeing the kaiju designs and artwork.
Shigeyuki Miya and Tomomi Kamiya directed the first season, with scripts by Ichiro Okouchi, character designs and chief animation direction by Tetsuya Nishio, art direction by Shinji Kimura, and monster designs by Mahiro Maeda.
Crunchyroll has licensed the anime series for streaming in over 200 countries and territories, including India.
Kaiju No. 8 is a manga series written and illustrated by Naoya Matsumoto. It has been published for free on Shueisha's Shonen Jump+ app and website since July 2020, with the chapters collected into 13 tankobon volumes as of July 2024.
