Weekly Shonen Jump is preparing to celebrate its 1st anniversary. Kagurabachi by Hokazono Takeru in the upcoming 40th issue, scheduled to release on September 2, 2024.
The first Anniversary issue will be marked by important announcements, including the latest merchandise information and secret projects.
The secret project has fans hoping for a long-running anime series as it has enough material to cover the first season. However, after the recent reveal of the My Hero AcadeKaren secret project became a popularity poll, expectations this time around are more cautious.

Kagurabachi It has been serialized in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine since September 2023. The first tankobon volume was released on February 2, 2024.
The third volume of the series was published in July 2024, with >Naruto Author Masashi Kishimoto introduces the manga Kagurabachi in vol.
Viz Media and Shueisha's Manga Plus platform are publishing the series in English.
The series has also garnered significant attention worldwide. The English version of Chapter 1 reached the top spot in global views on SHUEISHA's MANGA Plus just one week after its launch.
It was selected as the best emerging manga on Shueisha's Manga Plus app by fans during Anime Expo 2024.
