Lord Shadow, the mysterious leader of Shadow Garden, where he and his army of beautiful ladies are fighting the Cult of Diablos for world domination.
But outside of it, he’s just Cid Kagenou, who’s living the dream of being a shadowy protagonist in a world presumably made in his image. This is the 2nd season of Kage no Jitsuryokusha ni Naritakute!
Anyway, let’s start the story right away. After winning the Bushin Festival, Claire Kagenou decided to visit the Dark Knight Association located in Lawless City because she wanted to become a dark knight soon.
Oh yeah, Lawless City is a crazy and completely dilapidated place full of crime and other suspicious activities.
Hell, they even sell slaves they just caught in broad daylight. Wait a minute, it’s Quinton and Goldy Gilded!
Once again, Cid Kagenou doesn’t even recognize these supporting characters because come on, this is his story. Anyhow, even though the Lawless City is full of criminals, Cid or Shadow will survive because he can defeat them.
Unfortunately, things take a dark turn when a blood-red moon appears to hover over the Lawless City.
And not only that, various zombies appear around town and infect everyone. Something tells me that it was the Cult of Diablos that created this chaos in the Lawless City!
Well then, it’s time for Lord Shadow to steal the show and kill the zombies himself. In addition, he also saved a prostitute named Marie along the way.
Speaking of Shadow, he tells Marie to leave the city as soon as possible in the coolest fashion, although he still believes that everything is just a stage for him to look cool.
Hello Lord Shadow, there’s a real zombie apocalypse in the Lawless City, chunnie guy!
Even so, Marie still believes in Shadow as she follows his advice and plans to leave the city as soon as possible. I wonder if she will be recruited by Shadow Garden in the future?
Meanwhile, it seems Claire Kagenou is searching for her troubled brother until she meets a red-haired vampire assassin named Mary.
And according to Mary, she explained that the appearance of the Red Moon affected Elisabeth, the Blood Queen. And this was the problem when Elisabeth resided in the Crimson Tower, where she was waiting for a young man to be used as a sacrifice for her resurrection.
Now while Mary claims that Claire’s brother is being taken to the Crimson Tower, the truth is that Cid or Shadow is walking around like a stylish vigilante.
Oh yeah, it seems there are various factions involved in the Lawless City such as the Crimson, a vampire who wants to rule the entire city by resurrecting the Blood Queen.
Although I had the feeling that he was part of the Cult of Diablos, it seemed like Crimson was acting on his own will.
In addition to Crimson, two prominent figures have arrived to take control of the Lawless City: Juggernaut the Tyrant and Yukime the Spirit Fox.
Thanks to the Red Moon, they let loose over certain areas of the city and then kill each other, though both Juggernaut and Yukime could fall to Crimson or some hip vigilante of Shadow Garden.
And speaking of that stylish vigilante, Lord Shadow has come to play. I wish Juggernaut and Yukime luck because he will destroy them with his famous line “I am an atom!” Explosive magic.
Anyway, it’s great to be back because I’m really looking forward to the next episode!
