The first volume of Gamera-Rebirth-code thyrsos will be available on September 8 and the first volume of TATESC Gamera-Rebirth-will be available on September 29. Cambria Bakuhatsu Taro is drawing Gamera-Rebirth-code thyrsos and Renga Kizima drawing TATESC Gamera-Rebirth-.

Seshita (Suzume’s CG character, Polygon Pictures’ Godzilla anime trilogy, Lupine III vs. Cat’s Eye) directed the anime at ENGI. Seshita, Kenta Ihara (Uncle From Another World, Saga of Tanya the Evil) and Hiroshi Seko (Mob Psycho 100) are responsible for writing the series, and all three also wrote the script along with Tetsuya Yamada (Knights of Sidonia). Atsushi Tamura (Weathering With You, Mobile Suit Gun: Cucuruz Doan’s Island) is the character designer.
The fire-breathing giant turtle monster Gamera first appeared in the 1965 Daiei’s Daiei film Daikaijū Gamera (Gamera the Giant Monster). Daiei intended the film to compete with TOHO’s similarly popular giant monster movie Godzilla. The 12th and most recent film in the series is 2006’s Chiisaki Yūsha-tachi ~Gamera~ (Gamera the Brave).
