A Jujutsu Kaisen fan has created an incredibly accurate Satoru Gojo cosplay that will make you believe the Six Eyes user has brought himself into our world.
Created and uploaded to Reddit by Niicoser, the outfit perfectly recreates the character’s Jujutsu High uniform and features signature white hair and dark sunglasses. More importantly, the cosplayer took it a step further to accentuate Gojo’s intense blue eyes by applying pure white eyelashes.
Jujutsu Kaisen’s Gojo inspires epic cosplay
Of course, Niicoser isn’t the only Jujutsu Kaisen fan who has drawn inspiration from Six Eyes users to create impressive outfits. Another cosplayer on Reddit, Faye Coser, has notably shown off that they’ve swapped genders as Gojo. While the feminine version also highlights the striking eyes of the most powerful witch, it swaps out the character’s short spiky hair for a long, flowing hairstyle.
Gege Akutami first published his Jujutsu Kaisen manga in Shueisha’s Weekly Shōnen Jump in March 2018, and he has indicated that the ongoing series could end before the end of the year. The plot centers on Yuji Itadori, who devours one of Ryomen Sukuna’s withered but powerful fingers to rescue his friends. Becoming the undisputed vessel of the Cursed King, the high school student finds himself recruited by a group of Jujutsu witches and placed under Gojo’s tutelage.
MAPPA’s anime adaptation debuted its first season in 2020, going on to win multiple categories at the 5th Crunchyroll Anime Awards, including Anime of the Year and Best Ending Scene. The much-anticipated second season of Jujutsu Kaisen will premiere as part of the upcoming 2023 summer anime series, and its trailer provides an insight into what the story has in store. Some episodes will turn back the clock, depicting Gojo’s time as a student at Jujutsu High School. Furthermore, the new season will feature a deadly and brutal battle between him and Toji Fushiguro.
Jujutsu Kaisen’s Talented Cast
The Jujutsu Kaisen anime stars Junya Enoki (Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon) as Itadori, Yūichi Nakamura (Boruto: Naruto Next Generations) as Gojo, Yuma Uchida (The Executioner and Her Way of Life) as Megumi Fushiguro and Asami Seto (The Eminence in Shadow) as Nobara Kugisaki. Veteran voice actor Takahiro Sakurai (Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba) will reprise his role as the villain Suguru Geto, despite rumors to the contrary.
