Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 is the highlight of the year for fans and with not too many episodes left, an explosive trailer teases the brutal developments that will lead to the epic finale of the Shibuya Incident Arc.
The Shibuya incident is the most beloved and brutal part of Jujutsu Kaisen. With every episode that airs, the anime community can’t stop talking about it, and with good reason. This part has suspense that makes viewers restless and shocking unexpected details. After the Shibuya Incident was half completed, the teaser and main image were released.
Although short, the video is very disturbing as it hints at the return of the most cruel and powerful curse of all time, Sukuna. Standing in front of Shibuya Crossing, Sukuna flashed a sinister smile that showed he was ready to wreak havoc.
Sukuna is the scariest villain in the series
Back in Jujutsu Kaisen season 1, Itadori was killed by Sukuna, who ripped out his heart when he took over his body. Before Itadori died, he made a deal with Sukuna to give him 1 minute of control in exchange for reviving him. The only drawbacks to this Paradise Pact are that Itadori will not remember the deal they made after he is revived and Sukuna will not harm any of Itadori’s friends. Sukuna has not yet activated the pact, but with all the chaos and the fact that Gojo has been sealed, there is no one who can stop him.
Sukuna’s return couldn’t come at a worse time for the heroes, who are besieged by Special Class cursed spirits and have just witnessed the character’s true identity The main villain of Jujutsu Kaisen is revealed. If that wasn’t enough, the return of Toji Fushiguro puts the heroes in an even deeper bond. Sukuna’s appearance will be the nail in the coffin, and although he will be forced not to hurt Yuji’s friends, fans can be sure that he is still planning something sinister.
Sukuna’s return will change the outcome of the battle
One of the main goals of the curses is Sukuna’s resurrection. His reincarnation will usher in a new age of curses and will overthrow the status quo between humans and curses. Known as the King of Curses, Sukuna is both cruel and powerful. An excellent mastermind and tactician, he is sure to make the most of the minute he has to begin whatever plan he has. Jujutsu Kaisen knows how to keep fan excitement as high as possible, and this new trailer and visuals heralding Sukuna’s return should heighten expectations for the Shibuya Incident finale.
